DANCING WITH THE STARS (as TTK-Finland) covid-19

Season 13.episode 10. Miisa and Marko Keränen. With this ”Phantom Of The opera” themed paso doble they got full 30 points. It is absolutely stylish!

I was gonna made a post of dancing with the stars semifinals which should have been on Sunday. I was waited this semifinal episode a whole week and then when Sunday finally came, I went to net and clicked the show on. Then I realized that actually isn’t semifinal episode at all. There was just an episode where judges did memorize the best dances of previous seasons. Later when I was searching on net, I found the news about this. There were said that someone on Dancing with the stars team had covid -19 virus and that’s why the semifinal episode was cancelled.

Season 11. Boxer: Edis Tatli and Katri Mäkinen. Amazing fiery tango!

I’m disappointed that I couldn’t see my favorite vlogger: Miisa on the dancefloor as every sunday! Let’s see if DWTS can move on or will they quit it. Actually they shouldn’t even start the show this year. It would have been better if they just had decide not to show it but they did, and now when I have been watching it every week, what a pity it would be if it ends unfinished. Well, just have to wait and see.

Earlier on this season there were covid -19 case on one of the DWTS orchester members and they did switch the orchester for a week. Now only two weeks after that another case of the virus occured…

This covid -19 have totally ruined my life in every possible way. It almost have took my mentall healthy away too and I know I’m not the only one who feels this way. Maybe you too are feeling this way, or are you? Are you as worried than I am now when I’m almost loosing my mind because of the fear (specially now when this covid-19 have started to spread here in Finland too?)

Season 12. epidode 10. Singer Jannika B and Aleksi Seppänen. Truly one of the best dances in ”TTK” history. So beautiful and emotional!

There is not much else to do than only pray to God to make this end and make the world normal again…on the meantime we can try to relax with watching these beautiful dance shows…maybe it helps…even a little!

Season 12. episode 6. An actor Christoffer Strandberg and Matti Puro. This dance was historic in DWTS Finland last year. It was the first time we saw two men on the dance floor. I must say it felt weard for me at first when I heard this was coming but this is great dance and the more I watch it, the more I just see two great dancer, without thinking it’s two men dancing. Maybe even this ”granny” can still learn new, fresh perspectives.

I finally got together this second compilation amazing dance shows! (Time have flied so fast again. I’m sorry this post took a while!)

Live show 4. My favorite couple: Miisa and Marko: Foxtrot. I love this song!
Live show 5. Miisa & Marko. Miisas dress is beautiful and that lift is just perfecto!! Miisa is in great position with ankles stretched. She looks like professional dancer. That’s something you don’t see too often in this show (made by star students). It’s surely not so simple to make it look as elegant as she does!
Live show 7. Movie theme evening: Saturday night fever marathon challenge. This show was fun!
Live show 7. Miisa & Marko in the moods of the Mouling rouge tango. Great show, great costumes, great singer…all was just great! I loved this all of my heart but the judges only gave 3 times 8=24.
Live show 7. Niklas & Kia: Star Wars.
Live show 7. Jukka & Katri: Dirty Dancing…(with that classic lift. By the way I made that lift with my big brother as a child when this was our favorite movie.)
Live show 8. Halloween evening. I’m not the biggest fan of Halloween but I liked this show and the whole part!
Live show 8. Jukka & Katri. This was my favorite show on Halloween evening. Those characters are deceased stars of abandoned circus. Great story, great costumes and great choreography!
Live show 8. This may not be Miisas best performance but I liked it even judges criticized it quite hardly because of the mistakes. (They did anyway praise her legs!) Miisa told on her youtube channel that she’s disappointed with this performance and that she fell in after that show at home. Completely in vain!! Anyone can get black out sometimes but it doesn’t matter! You still look great!

Hyvä Miisa! Jatka samaan malliin. Älä huoli virheistä, ei niihin kiinnitä huomiota, muut kuin tuomarit!

DANCING WITH THE STARS LIVE SHOW

I’m sorry, my promised post have been taking time to publish but here it finally comes…

At Sunday 23.9. I was guest at Dancing with the Stars Live tv-show with my friend. I was invited there because of my poem which were used on their commercial at summer (if someone still didn’t know).


I was so exited to get there. After a long consideration I put my black dress and black smock (where is silver decorations) on and met my friend at city center. She was also very stylish and girly (with her beautiful turquoise skirt) which she usually is not. She’s not using skirts very often but she likes to use those on special occasions…

It was quite long bus trip to the filming place and when we got to the area it was hard to find the entry there. Finally after making a big round over that hall we saw a group of people and navigated our selves there.

We got poor placies cause almost all places were taken already. Also we didn’t realise which placies are the best and took the wrong ones. So we didn’t see (even those speakers: Vappu and Mikko) well.

Before the actual show we also sang to Mikko (one of the hosts) who did celebrate his 40th birthday at the same weekend.

All dancers were great! They all had sence of rhythm and some potential moves. I was very surprised of that! If that was the first show how great they are at the end of this season…They all got good points from the judge.

There is three judges on this season (who were sitting their backs in front of us). They are same ones as before but there is not the forth one (guest judge) anymore. Judges are: Jukka Haapalainen (internationally well known, succeeded dancer), Helena Ahti-Hallberg (dancer) and Jorma Uotinen (well known choreographer and dancer (Wikipedia mentioned he as singer also)).

Over all the whole experiment was fun even there were too much comercial breaks and it was nothing but just wait but yes it was fun…and at the end they also filmed few program commercial where the audience were cheering at background.

Well, that was all about my special evening. Next time I’ll be posting about finnish autumn (and winter) nowadays and in future! It’s quite different already than it was at my childhood 80’s and 90’s because of this global warming…

Anyway in the middle of this scary catastrophe, try to have a good day!

DANCING WITH THE STARS 2018 (COMERCIAL POEM)

This Spanish sparkling wine we did by to celebrate my commercial poem. It was quite dry but still good tasting wine. Not bad at all.

Finally it’s official and done…I mean the comercial convention I told you some time ago. Specifically Finnish marketing company bought my poem for ”Dancing with the Stars” -program commercial to channel 3 (commercial television). The finnish version of ”Dancing With the Stars” is starting again in autumn and this commercial with my poem came out at Monday.

I was so surprised that it was my poem they found (here at my blog, post: ”runoja 5/poems 5”) and it was the poem they wanted to use!

At first I thought my poem might be maybe little bit too deep for entertainment program but it’s actually working well. It depends how you take it. It doesn’t have to be taken too serious even that was my vision when I wrote it. I made it to be more like ”the dance of life”.

”Dancing With the Stars” is one of my favorite programs! I have watched every season of it. This is my dream come true!

My poem is read by famous finnish dancer and choreographer: Jorma Uotinen. What a great honor!

You can read my poem below first in finnish (naturally) and then there is my translation to english. I’m not sure if it’s working so well but atleast I tried. I think you can catch the idea.
